I am Werti

Hello,

I am Werti and I like to do stuff with weird old industrial equipment, sensors and cameras.

I have always been fascinated by anything with a plug, outlet, or battery. Over the years, I have become particularly fascinated by any kind of sensor that converts the values, measurements, and sizes of the real world into streams of electrons or binary numbers that computers can interpret.

In addition to my interest in technology, I like citizen science projects such as OpenStreetMap and iNaturalist. I enjoy snorkeling in the shallow waters of the Baltic Sea and discovering its surprisingly diverse marine life.
